Terms of Service

1. Who we are

didthey.click is operated by Maxime Bele as an individual, referred to in these terms as "we", "us", or "didthey.click". These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of didthey.click. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

didthey.click provides a web analytics service that helps website owners understand which sources, pages, and campaigns turn visitors into paying customers. You add a small tracking script to your own website or app, and we collect anonymized visit data — pageviews, referrers, device and browser information, and approximate location — which you can view in your dashboard. The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We are a small, independently-run product — we work hard to keep it reliable, but we make no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

3. Your account

To use the Service you need an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when registering (email, name)
• Keep your password secure and not share your account
• Notify us at hello@didthey.click if you suspect unauthorized access
• Take responsibility for activity that happens under your account

You can sign up with an email and password, or with Google sign-in. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or are used to abuse the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You are the data controller for the visitors of the websites you track with didthey.click — you are responsible for making sure your own use of the Service complies with the laws that apply to you (including any notice or consent requirements in your jurisdiction). We only act as your data processor for that visitor data — see our Data Processing Agreement for the terms of that arrangement.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Track websites or apps you do not own or have permission to track
• Attempt to identify individual visitors, re-identify anonymized data, or fingerprint devices
• Circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or quota enforcement
• Send unlawful, harmful, or abusive traffic through our infrastructure
• Interfere with, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service or its underlying systems

5. Plans, billing, and quotas

We offer a free plan and paid plans (Pro and Business) with different website, event-volume, and data-retention limits — see our Pricing page for current details. Paid plans are billed through Stripe, in advance, on a recurring monthly or annual basis.

If you go over your plan's monthly event quota, we do not drop your data: your site keeps being tracked, but your dashboard is locked until you upgrade or the next billing cycle starts. As a backstop against abuse, ingestion is rejected outright once traffic reaches several times your plan's limit.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial periods, except where required by law.

6. Your data and our license to it

You own the data collected through your use of the Service. We only use it to operate, maintain, and improve the Service for you, and as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't sell your data or your visitors' data.

7. Third-party integrations

You may optionally connect third-party accounts — such as Stripe (for revenue attribution), Google Search Console, or Bing Webmaster Tools (for search performance data) — to enrich your dashboard. Connecting these is your choice, and your use of them is also subject to that provider's own terms.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that analytics data will be complete, perfectly accurate, or delivered without delay.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, didthey.click will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practical. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we handle any remaining data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date on this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, and any dispute arising from them or the Service will be handled by the courts of France.
